Simone GristwoodThesis Working TitlePhotography, Artificial Intelligence and Visual Art Research InterestsMy current research involves drawing connections between the history of photography in the nineteenth century and AI in the twentieth century through cultural, art historical and philosophical debates. I am also interested in computer art history, new media, artificial intelligence and art, robots, the history of technology, digital culture, Japanese computer art history, vision and mind, digital animation.
