Jeffrey Richards quoted in 'The Independent' about English National Identity

Professor Jeffrey Richards, Department of History at LancasterUniversity,was quoted in The Independent1, November 21, about English national identity and the story was also featured in the Daily Star2, November 22, and The Digital Journal3.

Jeffrey Richards was a member of a five person panel of experts discussing definitions of Englishness and the cinematic depictions of Englishness on November 25 2010. This was the opening session of a month-long festival of films and Englishness at the QUAD Arts Centre, Derby.
