Language Variation ESRC research grant success

Kevin Watson and Paul Kerswill have been awarded funding by the ESRC for a three-year project exploring phonological variation and change in the north-west of England. The project is called 'Phonological levelling, diffusion and divergence in Liverpool and its hinterland', and will begin in January 2010.
