Language Variation Paul Kerswill gives the annual Sommerfelt public lecture at the University of Tromsų

Paul Kerswill will give the annual Sommerfelt public lecture at the University of Tromsų on Monday 28th September. The lecture has the title "Multicultural English in London: the growth, acquisition and spread of a new variety", and will be delivered in Norwegian. The series is named after Alf Sommerfelt (1892-1965), the first professor of linguistics in Norway.
