Amnesty International's 50th birthdayDate: 24 May 2011 Time: 19.00 Venue: The Duke's, Lancaster The Centre for Law and Society, in association with Amnesty International, is organising an event to coincide with AI's 50th birthday on Tuesday 24 May at the Dukes Cinema, Lancaster, at 7:00pm, followed by a showing of the movie, To Kill a Mocking Bird, at 8pm. In addition to birthday cake and other light refreshments, Nayanika Mookherjee, a representative from AI and David Sugarman will speak briefly about AI - Past, Present and Future - followed by an informal discussion.
