Postgraduate History at LancasterHistory at Lancaster is a large department offering a wide range of research expertise both chronologically and geographically. We have a strong research community, in which the enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity of our postgraduate students play a vital role. The postgraduates run their own regular seminar series, organize a nationally–recognized annual postgraduate conference, Histfest, and participate in staff research symposia. Postgraduate SchemesWe offer two kinds of postgraduate scheme:
Both MA and research degrees offer the opportunity to work closely with one or two supervisors on your chosen research. To support that research you will also have a range of taught courses available both within History and in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
Alternatively, you are welcome to contact the Director of Postgraduate Studies Professor Andrew Jotischky. |
