Lancaster History Students visit SicilyDate: 17 March 2008 In March 2008, Lancaster history students took part in a study trip to Sicily as part of the third year special subject on Islamic and Norman Sicily. They visited medieval sites in Palermo, Monreale, Erice, and are pictured here at Cefalù. Five of the group plan to continue their medieval Sicilian studies at postgraduate level next year.
