Dr Thomas Rohkramer receives Promotion

Thomas Rohkrämer has been promoted to Reader with effect from 1 February 2009. The promotion signals the recognition of Thomas' growing international reputation as an expert on the social and cultural history of modern Germany. This reputation is built on Thomas' three books, A Single Communal Faith? The German Right from Conservatism to National Socialism (2007), Eine Andere Moderne? Zivilisationskritik, Natur und Technik in Deutschland 1880-1933 (1999) and Der Militarismus der "Kleinen Leute": Die Kriegervereine im Deutschen Kaiserreich 1871-1914 (1990).
