HIST201: From Bede to Becket: The Cult of Saints in Earlier Medieval England, c. 600-1200Prolific and often politically important, the cult of saints was central to medieval life and thought. They were responsible, moreover, for producing many of the records on which we depend for our knowledge of the period. This course asks what these sources can tell us about the origins and early history of England. For further information on HIST201 visit the Lancaster University Online Courses Handbook. |
