This Workshop will explore theoretical and empirical aspects of legal education and scholarship including: values, culture, class, race, gender, diversity, globalisation, commodification, pedagogy, impact, political economy, academic freedom and stakeholders. The Workshop will consider what law schools and legal scholarship are for, and what they should be for.
The Workshop is in honour of William Twining, the doyen of the English law school, who has made a signal contribution to the study of law from a broad perspective, and who will be actively involved in the Workshop proceedings.
