Email: Email Hidden Affiliations CILHR Centre for International Law and Human Rights I am interested in how the idea of legitimate political authority is understood in international law. This includes both the idea of democratic authority within and beyond the state, and the idea of authority when applied to other political communities, including ethno-cultural minorities and indigenous peoples. Career DetailsBefore coming to Lancaster, I was Professor of International Law at the University of Leeds. I have also worked at the Universities of Liverpool, UWE, Bristol, and Central Lancashire.
