About Postgraduate StudyWe offer an extensive range of postgraduate taught courses and research degrees. We have a compact and close-knit, but thriving community of postgraduate students at Lancaster University Law School. Scholarly enquiry thrives in our atmosphere of informality, collegiality and interdisciplinarity. The School received a 5 rating in the last Research Assessment Exercise, indicating the independent judgment that research done in the School is of international standards of excellence. The School also received the equivalent rating for the quality of its teaching in the recent Development Engagement Exercise. We are proud of the ethos of our postgraduate programme and we hope that it will stimulate your scholarly and personal interests. Please note The Law School does not offer the Common Professional Examination (sometimes called the Diploma in Law), for graduates without qualifying law degrees seeking to complete the academic stage of training for the legal professions in England and Wales, nor does the School offer the Bar Vocational Course or the Legal Practice Course, or any courses for the Institute of Legal Executives (Dip.Law, CPE, LPC, BVC, ILEx). |
