Postgraduate Diploma in Law

The Postgraduate Diploma in Law is aimed at giving the students subject specific learning within the Law School Postgraduate specialisms:

  • International Law and International Relations
  • International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law
  • International Business and Corporate Law

The students will, upon registration for the Diploma, determine which Master Programme specialism they would want to follow. They will then develop the understanding and skills within the specific parameters of that particular Master Programme's taught modules.

The course runs between October and May will consist of 6 taught modules. The teaching takes place in the first two terms of the academic year:

  • October - December
  • January - March

The course is assessed by a 5,000 word piece of work for each module. For core modules and modules available within each specialism, please consult the relevant LLM Programme. The entry requirements are the same as those for the LLM Programmes. Please see Admissions and Funding page.
