LLM in International Human Rights Law

This scheme is intended to appeal to students who wish to study International Human Rights Law at Master’s level, with the research, focusing on a distinct although relatively broad specialism. The required courses, combined with appropriate options, lay a strong foundation in the basics of international human rights which are of increasing importance today. The coursework requirements would develop research skills, and lay a basis for a dissertation, which is the main assessed component of the programme. Graduates completing the programme be equipped to engage in more specialised practical or academic research in this field.

This scheme offers two optional pathways, the programme of which will be confirmed by the student at registration:

a)    Studying 5 modules with a 20,000 word dissertation (80 credits)
b)    Studying 6 modules with a 15,000 word dissertation (60 credits)
