103r - Law of Torts

Law 103r introduces the students to the law of torts, covering topics such as negligence, trespass, nuisance, Rylands v Fletcher , breach of statutory duty, defamation and privacy. Students will engage with theoretical perspectives and academic critique as well as the substantive law in order to gain an informed and critical overview of the subject. The course is assessed by 50% coursework and 50% unseen examination.
