Law 213c - Public Law(Half Unit in the 1st term) ConvenorDr Barbara Mauthe The Course aims to develop a critical understanding of Constitutional Law. The course seeks to problematise the legitimacy of the constitutional arrangements of the UK. A contextual approach is adopted which entails drawing upon historical, political, comparative and jurisprudential materials. The course will constantly question whether Constitutional Law functions as a 'real' regulator of legitimacy or as a symbolic one.
