Law 326 - Terrorism: Law and Context

(half unit in 1st term)

PLEASE NOTE THAT LAW 326 IS SUBJECT TO SENATE APPROVAL.

This course considers a dynamic and topical subject. It begins by critically examining the basic concepts, theories, and background information pertaining to terrorism, and analyzes theories related to its root causes. After this initial investigation, it goes on to critically assess national and international legal responses to terrorism, relating these to the challenges arising from the implementation of counter-terrorist legislation.

This half unit is available to second and third years.
