Laura Betney

The leap from studying at A Level to degree level, for me has been a huge experience within itself, never mind learning to cook etc!

There is a substantial difference in relation to the work you undertake at college and that at university, and due to the intense nature of studying a law degree, I guarantee you it is very daunting at first.

However, before I put you off, I would also like you to know that the Lancaster University Law School has provided invaluable support and has guided me in the right direction. At the time of writing I'm in my first year and have made it to my second term!

The tutors are very friendly and approachable, which is always helpful and I believe makes a difference to your education.

Although you come to university to study, the Law School offers you many other great opportunities to get involved with, for example dealing with real cases, volunteer work with young offenders and many more.
