The Nuffield Theatre at Lancaster University Presents:
THE GRATITUDE OF MONSTERS
The Strange Names Collective
8pm Thursday 29th January
£10 / £7
North-West based group, The Strange Names Collective, bring a triple-bill of comically nightmarish performances to the Nuffield's spring season.
The Gratitude of Monsters is a critique of human ideas of civilisation and progress with a dark, bleakly funny, core. Witness a distorted survey of the world with troubling results, a lesson in complicity, and a perverse awards ceremony celebrating horrifying events and those responsible to find out who will be nominated...
Formed in 2001, The Strange Names Collective (consisting of Philip Stanier and regular collaborators) work with simple forms and an experimental approach to produce challenging and unique events.
