Ockham's Razor stunned sell-out audiences at the Nuffield Theatre with previous show Arc in 2008. They return laden with awards and plaudits with new show, The Mill, which has astounded audiences and critics around the country.
Ockham's Razor create daring physical theatre on specially created aerial equipment. In The Mill, a large wheel made of wood and steel is suspended from a 7-metre high rig, linked into a system of ropes and wooden drums to create an intricate set. Powered by the performers using all their strength and weight, they create a precarious world where small decisions or actions gather momentum and impetus beyond their control.
By turns treadmill and pleasure wheel, The Mill is the vehicle for a roller-coaster ride through every human emotion, and its effects are as unpredictable as they are dramatic.
'a terrifically imaginative and original show, something really special.' The Guardian
'aerial artistry... with ingenuity and theatrical flair' The Times
