The Featherstonehaughs are amongst the UK's most enduring contemporary dance companies. Under the direction of Lea Anderson, they have sustained a highly distinctive output for over 25 years. One of the most important figures in British dance, Anderson is known for her original and off-kilter choreographic style and for championing a meticulous creative process with a sense of ambition.
With Edits, Lea Anderson is at her sumptuous best, crafting an alluring world which plays like a series of film 'takes'. Designed by Simon Corder and richly costumed by three-times.. Oscar winning designer Sandy Powell, the performers switch between different female archetypes, tumbling in and out of the frames, all set to a live sound-score by Steve Blake and Will Saunders.
