Keith Hampton - Associate Professor, Department of Communication, School of Communication and Information, Rutgers University His research interests focus on the relationship between new information and communication technologies, social networks, and the urban environment.
Christian Licoppe - Social Science department, Telecom ParisTech, France Professor of sociology. Trained in history and sociology of science and technology, he is currently the head of the Social Science department at Telecom Paristech, after a stretch in industrial research, where he managed social science research at Orange R&D.
Mimi Sheller - Professor of Sociology and Director of Mobilities Research and Policy Center, Drexel University She holds a continuing appointment as Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Mobilities Research at Lancaster University (UK) and is founding co-editor of the international journal Mobilities. She is on the international editorial boards of the journals Cultural Sociology, and African and Black Diaspora.
