Research Excellence

Research Centres and Institutes

We are home to The Richardson Institute

Cultural Political Economy Research Centre (CPERC)

and the Centre for Bioethics and Medical Law.

We have an outstanding reputation for our research which has a strong interdisciplinary focus, bringing together scholars in religious studies, philosophy, politics and international relations. We are ranked no. 1 in all three of these disciplines in the Northwest (2013 Guardian University Guide).
