PPR473: Nineteenth-Century Religious Thought

Objectives

This module deals with the impact of the Enlightenment upon religious thought in the nineteenth-century. A limited selection of seminal texts will be studied in context and in relation to their later reception. This year, the selection of key texts will be drawn from the works of the following thinkers: Kant, Schelling, Hegel, Kierkegaard and Nietzsche.
