My research interests and publications broadly span Diaspora studies; nationalism, identity and ethnicity; minority communities in the contemporary Middle East. I  am currently working on the following research projects: The first is on transnational civil society in the case of Armenian-Turkish rapprochement. The second is on the minorities of Cyprus. The third examines the reconceptualisation of ?return' to ?homeland' by diasporas, focussing on the Armenian case. In addition, I am co-editor of a collected volume entitled Diasporas of the Middle east ? Contextualising Community  (Edinburgh University Press, 2014) ; as well as a special issue of the journal Patterns of Prejudice (2014).
