Philosophy and Public Policy: Making an ImpactDate: 15 February 2011 Professor Archard will be speaking at the Philosophy and Publicy: Making an Impact seminar on 'Public Policy and the Future of the Family' at King's College, London on Friday, February 18th. This seminar is sponsored by the Society for Applied Philosophy, the Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain, and the Subject Centre for Philosophy and Religious Studies (The Higher Education Academy) and is the second in the series devoted to exploring how philosophers can contribute to the formulation and implementation of public policy in important areas of contemporary social life.
