Prof. Ram-Prasad and the Archbishop of Canterbury reflect on Hindu-Christian DialogueDate: 16 February 2011 On 16th February 2011, the Archbishop of Canterbury and Prof. Chakravarthi Ram-Prasad reflected on the Archbishop's meeting with Hindu religious teachers and leaders in Bangalore during his visit to India in September 2010. Prof. Ram-Prasad had presided over that event. The audience consisted of Hindus and Christians engaged in dialogue in Britain, and was held at Lambeth Palace. Prof. Ram-Prasad gave a brief overview of Hindu theology, and other speakers addressed various aspects of Hindu-Christian dialogue. The main discussion was in the form of a dialogue between Prof. Ram-Prasad and the Archbishop, with the Archbishop responding to Prof. Ram-Prasad's questions on comparative theology and the social dimensions of Hindu-Christian engagement.
