How to Apply

You should apply through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). Application Forms can usually be obtained from your school/college or by writing to UCAS at:

Overseas students can obtain application forms from British Council Offices or through the UCAS website (above).

Can I apply for deferred entry?

Yes. You should apply for the Lancaster BA in the normal way and indicate your intention to defer entry on your UCAS form.

Mature Students

Lancaster University and PPR welcome applications from mature students.  We interview mature candidates where we feel this will be helpful, and our offers may be based more on our evaluation of level of ability, interest and motivation than on formal educational qualifications, however you must normally show evidence of recent academic study, for example an access course. Relevant work or other experience can also be taken into account.

What if I have special needs?

Students with special needs are welcome at Lancaster University and in PPR.  There is a well-established student support office, which works in collaboration with all Departments to make sure that individual needs can be met as effectively as possible.
