Introduction

Since 1997, a series of events, under the title ‘Consumption, Everyday Life and Sustainability’ have been funded by the European Science Foundation’s TERM (Tackling Environmental Resource Management) Programme. Through workshops, exchanges and summer schools, this programme has brought together a wide variety of researchers and policy makers from across Europe and beyond. The programme has given rise to an enduring network of researchers and practitioners, and to distinctive, interdisciplinary perspectives on the complex themes that converge in this area of understanding and practice.

Summer School 2001

The second summer school of the consumption, everyday life and sustainability programme took place in July 2001. It was a great event drawing together a wide variety of nationalities and disciplines. Updates about the summer school will be added over the coming weeks, but the existing resources will stay posted for the time being.

You can find out about the programme, including details of past exchanges, workshops and previous summer school by clicking on the previous events button. A range of online papers associated with the programme can be accessed by clicking on the papers button.
