Lake District Excursion - Saturday 12 September
The Cumbrian company, ‘Mountain Goat', are offering delegates a minibus tour of the South Lakes, taking in some of the Lakes' prettiest scenery. For this tour to operate, we will need to get together a minimum of 10 people.
The proposed itinerary is as follows:
09.30/45 - depart Lancaster for Wray Castle, Hill Top and Near Sawrey.
Lunch stop at Hawkshead.
Then on to Tarn Hows, Coniston, Little Langdale, Blea Tarn, Great Langdale, Red Bank to Grasmere (short stop) and return to Lancaster.
The price would be £35.
