And if they did owne God & Xt & his prophetts
& Apostles: they must owne him or her:
ffor all people had ye scriptures but was not in yt
same light & powr ^& spiritt yt they was in yt gaue forth ye
scriptures & soe they neither knew God nor Xt nor ye
prophetts nor ye Apostles nor ye scriptures neither had they
Vnity one with another:
beinge out of ye power & spiritt of God
And soe wee passed on warninge people as wee mett ym
of ye day of ye Lorde yt was Comeinge vpon y:m. & as
wee went I spÿed a great high hill

pendle hill
& I went on ye toppe of it with much adoe Itt
was soe steepe: butt I was moued of ye Lorde to
goe atoppe of it : & when I came a toppe of it
I saw
Lancasheere sea:
& there a toppe of the
hill I was moued
to sounde ye day of ye Lorde
& ye Lorde lett mee see a toppe of ye hill
In
what places hee had a great people: & soe one
ye hills syde I founde a springe of water & refresht
my selfe for I had eaten litle & drunk litle for
seuerall days:
And soe att night wee Came to an
Inn & declarede
much to ye man of ye house & writt a paper to ye
preists &
proffessors Concerneinge ye day of ye Lorde
& how God & Xt was Come to teach people
himselfe by his powr & spiritt & to bringe ym
off all ye worlds ways & teachers, to his owne
^free teachinge
whoe had bought y:m & was there Saviour:
And ye man of ye housse did spreade ye paper
vppe & downe & was
mightily affected with truth:
And ye Ld opned to mee at y:t place: & lett mee see a
great people in white-raiment by
a riuers syde Comeinge
