Open Days

Our Open Days take place in February and March and, if you are interested in doing a degree in Sociology or media and Cultural Studies, it is important that you visit the Department to meet our staff and students. That way you can make sure that our degree is the one for you and this visit will also give you the opportunity to experience what Lancaster University and the Department of Sociology has to offer.

Invitations to attend an Open Day will be sent if you are offered a place to study with us.

Campus Tours

If you'd like to visit the campus then book a Lancaster University campus tour which includes a short visit to our Department. These tours run throughout the year.

Master Classes for A/S Students

We are working with student recruitment to provide master classes for A/S students. More information coming soon.

Teacher Days

We will be holding a one day workshop at the beginning of the academic year for teachers of Sociology and Media and Cultural Studies.
