"Producing and performing 'communities': looking at the paradox of public participation and de-politicisation"

«Back

Summary: This is a three month scoping study under the AHRC's 'Connected Communities' Programme. The research aims to do a review of the literatures within political science and STS that intersect with studies and practices of public participation. Two workshops are to be held - one in July and the other in November 2011 exploring these issues with other political science/STS scholars. A network of interested scholars and practitioners will be created as part of the research. If you are interested in learning more about this network, or becoming involved, please contact Judith, j.tsouvalis@lancaster.ac.uk, or Claire, c.waterton@lancaster.ac.uk.
