Sociology Seminar with Scott Lash on 'WHY CHINA IS NOT NEOLIBERAL'Date: 6 December 2012 Time: 4-6pm Venue: Management School Room LUMS LT10. This talk looks at neoliberal discourse systematically in Hayek and Coase. It then draws on research to show how China is not neoliberal. It also draws also on Foucault and Adam Smith in this context to show how a different type of economic subjectivity is being constituted in China. We understand this also in terms of a set of secularized Daoist and Confucian assumptions.
