Location: Bowland North, B104 AffiliationsMy research investigates the political uses and ideological effects of catastrophic narratives about climate change. Presently, this includes analysis of reports from defense organizations which are constructing scenarios about and preparing for "climate-driven" conflict. Guiding my critique of such narratives is an underlying concern for the cultural consequences of conceptualizing climate change (and nature) as something we are "at war" with.
