Hi everybody, I am a student in Media and Cultural Studies.
I chose this as a major, because in my opinion, society mostly consists of people whose main purpose is the pursuit of material values. Bustling through a crowd some of them forget about mutual understanding, sharing real emotions and feelings for beauty.
Media forms mass opinion and the important aspects of culture as a whole. I opened up for myself the interesting idea that media creates us. I chose to study Media and Culture to comprehend this subject more deeply and in the near future to create something valuable, useful and helpful for all of us.
Before I decided to study this subject I had gone through the foundation course. There I understood how amazing Lancaster and the University are, how pleasant the atmosphere and people are and how it is favorable for living, working and creating!
