I absolutely loved my time at Lancaster University and being a part of the Sociology Department.  My degree felt totally flexible, to fit with my learning preferences. 

The Sociology Department ran many brilliant modules and there were plenty of new choices every year so I never had to take a module I didn’t want to.  Also there was a range of assessments offered, such as an exam or essay and this allowed me to pick assessments which I felt matched my strengths. 

One of the best parts of the Sociology Department was the tutors and other members of staff who are always helpful and approachable.  They were always on hand to help with work and any other problems I may have been having.  The Sociology Department is a very friendly place and the students became great friends by the end of our 3 years there.
