Teaching
MA ProgrammeCSET contributes to the MA programme through members’ work in research and evaluation. It contributes to modules on ‘Introduction to Research and Evaluation, Policy and the module ‘Introduction to the Management of Change’. Doctoral ProgrammeCSET contributes to the Doctoral Programme mainly through the module on Education, and Work (ETW). This module deals extensively in the evaluation of HE work oriented policy by CSET. Contributions drawing on its experience in evaluation are also made on the modules on Research Methods and on Policy.
Distance Learning MA Adult Literacy, Numeracy & ESOL (formerly diploma in ABE)CSET members have developed this innovative MA in Adult Literacy, Numeracy & ESOL delivered by electronic means. It is also offered as a diploma.
PhD ProjectsCSET members are currently supporting PhD students in the following areas:
Capacity Building and Professional DevelopmentCSET members through the WBBSN promote the professional development in Workplace Basic Skills. The areas of capacity building in evaluation through detail and institutional assertion also feature. Capacity building in evaluation for the Higher Education Academy takes place through review consultancy, workshops with the Change Academy and the provision of an Evaluation Resources WEB site: |
