Yearbook of Consumer Law

VOLUME 1 (2006)

Synopsis

For some time, there has been no dedicated outlet for consumer law scholarship. From 2006, the Yearbook of Consumer Law will offer a home for high-quality, peer-reviewed scholarly articles on all aspects of consumer law. Articles focus on specific areas of consumer law, such as sales, credit or safety, as well as more general issues, such as consumer law theory. There will be a mix of articles with a purely domestic, regional or international flavour, although the emphasis will generally be on UK and European matters. All articles are refereed independently.
In addition, there will be a section dedicated to significant developments during the period covered by each volume of the yearbook, such as key legislative developments or important court decisions.

The journal is edited by Professor Geraint Howells (Lancaster) and Dr Christian Twigg-Flesner (Hull), with Deborah Parry (Hull), Dr Duncan Fairgrieve (BIICL) and Annette Nordhausen (Sheffield).
