The Human Right to Adequate FoodMarch 3-May 23 2008An online course on the human right to adequate food will be offered by Professor George Kent of the University of Hawai’i. This course will build knowledge and skills for the practical application of human rights to governance at every level, from the local to the global, using the human right to adequate food to illustrate the basic principles. Overall, theprimary objective is to help participants learn how to design rights-based social systems, and how to assess and recommend improvements for existing systems. The course will be conducted entirely online through Transcend Peace University. The cost is 200 Euro for participants coming from non-OECD countries and 400 Euro for residents of OECD member states.
