Is this course for me?
Do you need to undertake work where the risk assessment indicates that there is a significant risk of injury and where first aid training is considered to be one of the appropriate control measures? If yes, please attend this course.
Course detail
The course covers the following aspects of first aid treatment: Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR); treating an unconscious casualty; choking; wounds and bleeding; shock; minor injuries.
Learning outcomes:
At the end of the course you will be able to:
- Assist the University in providing the first aid cover as required by the First Aid at Work Regulations
