Conducting Investigations (Disciplinary and Grievance)

This course is designed for you as a Manager or Supervisor
Pre-requisite
Familiarisation with the new HR policies on discipline, grievance and capability
Course detail
We will cover: core principles of fair and effective investigations; legal background and best practice; preparation and structure of interview; interpersonal skills; writing the report; and dealing with difficulties.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course you will be able to:
- Appreciate how to conduct an investigation fairly and effectively
- Demonstrate improved skills in carrying out an investigation
- Follow and implement the revised procedures
