If you are member of staff with responsibilities for planning, organising or monitoring projects, you should attend this course for a pragmatic look at project management.
Course detail
The course closely examines questions such as what is a project and when is a project management required?
It also looks at the key factors in planning and organising a project and highlights the fundamental steps of managing projects: breaking projects down into 'bite-sized chunks', developing realistic time-lines; prioritisation of tasks; managing project 'risks'; effective project management tools; and, monitoring project progress and keeping them on track.
Learning outcomes:
At the end of the course you will be able to:
- Define the scope of a project
- Identify the factors involved in effectively planning and organising a project
- Effectively monitor projects in progress
