Introduction to Equality Analysis
To meet our legal requirements and fulfil the aims of our Single Equality Strategy, the University is implementing a new Equality Analysis (EA) procedure.
The procedure is being applied across all of the University’s policies, strategies, procedures and processes (PSPPs) relating to employment, education and service provision.
There are real benefits to be gained for the University from undertaking EA. It can be viewed as a quality improvement tool, which assesses the effectiveness of a PSPP from the viewpoint of outcomes for people affected by it.
