New employees who are eligible for the practical support and financial assistance provided by the Access to Work scheme should have their applications submitted within 6 weeks of commencing employment.
Only then will the University be entitled to recover 100% of the cost of approved reasonable adjustments.
Applications can also be made for existing employees who become disabled.
