Some of the benefits of relocating to Lancaster

South Campus

Lancaster Near?......

Manchester is only an hour away, and you'll be near the Lake District (half an hour away) and the coast. The campus is close to the A6 and the M6, just south of Lancaster, so there is easy access to the motorway. London is approx. 3 hours away by train.
Further information on the city of Lancaster and the surrounding area can be found here.

Travelling to the Campus

Bus services come onto the campus from Heysham, Morecambe and Lancaster. Car parking is available on campus for which annual fees are payable. There are Cycle routes from Lancaster to the Campus. Link to Further Details.

Relocation Allowance

If you are being offered a post on a fixed term basis of 2 years or over, or an indefinite contract in grade 6 or above, you will be entitled to a relocation allowance of either 1/12 or 1/8 of your salary. Further details will be in the terms and conditions should you be offered a post.

Buying or Renting Accommodation

Inserting the University's post code (LA1 4YW) into a property search engine will provide you details of properties to rent or buy.
