The existing form “Request to Employ Temporary Staff on Letters of Agreements (HR/721)” has been replaced by an underlying variable hours contract form and individual engagement forms for particular periods of work.

If you require any assistance please contact your HR Assistant Note: The University has a statutory obligation to provide anonymised data about employees to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). All potential employees must complete the HESA Data Collection Form before payment of salary can be made. To ensure confidentiality of the data the individual should place the form in an envelope and hand it to the Departmentmental Officer along with their passport information. Please refer to the following notes when completing the Engagement Form: Note 1 It may not be possible to state total hours. In this case total hours should be estimated and payment made by monthly time sheets. The engagement form should show the maximum number of hours for the period. Note 2 Rates of pay should be selected from the drop-down list. Exceptions must be agreed with your HR Partner. Note 3 Non-EU students are limited by their visa status, to a maximum of 20 hours work per week during term time.
