(Appendix 1)

Cases should be evidence-based and structured round the Promotions Criteria and relevant Discipline Profile and consist of: -

• 1. a statement from the candidate
• 2. a Curriculum Vitae

These will be supplemented by a statement from the Head of Department commenting on and drawing attention to the key elements of the submission.

Statement - (max 2 pages)

This should be a succinct summary which identifies the key dimensions of the case and relates them to the Promotions Criteria and Departmental Discipline Profile. This will be backed up by your Curriculum Vitae.

Curriculum Vitae

The Curriculum Vitae should take the following form.

- Name
- Current and past posts;
- Academic and professional qualifications;
- Professional and personal development whilst in post
- Teaching
- Research and Scholarly work (see Appendix 2)
- Administration/management
- Referees

For information on the presentation of publications, please refer to Appendix 2

You should nominate 2 referees, your Head of Department and Chair of the FCCR will nominate another 6. Only 6 out of the 8 will be approached.
