Background: Take advantage of the new sports centre by selecting one of the four levels of membership. This benefit is operated by salary sacrifice whereby you agree to a reduction in your salary (over 12 months) and in return receive the benefit of Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum membership.

If you are already a member of the sport centre, you will need to make a revised selection during the annual enrolment window.

Your membership will start on 1 October and will run for twelve months.

Flexible Benefit options:

Bronze membership: covers swimming, cardio and weights, off-peak only (normal price - £206 or £17.17 per month)

Silver membership: covers swimming, cardio and weights at any time (normal price - £257 or £21.42 per month)

Gold membership: covers all activities at anytime excluding classes (normal price - £309 or £25.75 per month)

Platinum membership: covers all activities at anytime (normal price - £360 or £30 per month)

Amendments to Benefit: This benefit can only be selected at the start of each benefit year.

Tax and NI implications: This is operated by salary sacrifice. You will save tax and NI on this benefit.

Savings (based on a standard rate tax payer):

Bronze membership: £5.34 per month saving

Silver membership: £6.67 per month saving

Gold membership: £8.00 per month saving

Platinum membership: £9.34 per month saving

How do I get this benefit? Once you have been notified by HR that your membership has been activated, you can collect your membership by taking your library card to the sports centre where it will be uploaded to the card.
