Constructing Regional identities in the Post-Communist Space: Eurasia or Europe?
27 - 28 June 2007
The colloquium focused on three issues:
- The history and the cultural doctrine of the Eurasian Movement;
- Case-studies of present-day Ukraine and Belarus (to stand as far as possible for Eastern Europe at large) and their problems of identity and European integration (to reflect the EU dimension);
- A case-study of Georgia (to stand for the Caucasus at large) in the light of geopolitics, security and international development.
